Terms of Service & Community Standards

Salute is a benefits, resources, and networking platform designed for active duty service members, Guard, Reserve, veterans, dependents, and military families. The App provides tools for discovering military resources and benefits, personalized planning and resource assistance, connecting and sharing with the community, finding Military-Owned Businesses, and engaging with approved partner organizations.

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• You may not use another person's account or impersonate any individual or organization.
• You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App.
• Account access is personal and non-transferable.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Salute has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not use Salute to post, share, send, or promote:

• Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or threats
• Hate speech or discriminatory abuse
• Sexually explicit, exploitative, or predatory content
• Graphic violence or dangerous content
• Illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or scam-related content
• Impersonation, fake identity, or misleading affiliation
• Spam, repeated unwanted contact, or abusive messaging

Users can report objectionable posts, messages, media, profiles, and accounts from within the app at any time. Users can also block other users to prevent further interaction. Salute reviews reports promptly — reports involving child safety are treated with the highest priority and reviewed as quickly as possible.

Upon review, Salute may remove or restrict access to offending content without prior notice, suspend or temporarily restrict accounts, permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms, and escalate apparent child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or child exploitation activity to appropriate authorities or designated organizations as required by applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate any account at our discretion to protect the safety, integrity, and trust of the Salute: Military Network community.

Salute: Military Network has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexualization of minors, or any behavior that exploits, endangers, or abuses children.

Users may not use Salute to:

• Create, upload, share, request, store, promote, or distribute CSAM or any content that sexually exploits or depicts minors.
• Engage in grooming, predatory behavior, or sexualized communication involving minors.
• Exploit, endanger, or solicit minors in any way.
• Use the platform to facilitate trafficking, exploitation, or abuse of children.
• Attempt to evade moderation or enforcement related to child safety.

Salute may immediately remove violating content, suspend or permanently terminate accounts, preserve relevant records where appropriate, and report apparent child sexual abuse material or child exploitation activity to applicable authorities or organizations as required by law, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable.

If you encounter content or behavior involving possible child sexual abuse or exploitation, report it immediately using the in-app reporting tools or by contacting our child safety point of contact at partner@allsalute.com.

Salute complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations and reviews child-safety-related reports with priority.

5.1 Ownership: You retain ownership of the content you post on Salute. By posting, you grant Salute a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content within the App.

5.2 Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you post. Salute does not endorse user-generated content and is not liable for any content posted by users.

5.3 Prohibited Content: Content that violates our Community Standards or these Terms will be removed. Repeat violations will result in account suspension or termination.

5.4 Copyright: Do not post content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe content on Salute infringes your copyright, contact us at the address below.

• Direct messages must comply with all conduct rules in Section 3.
• You may not use the messaging system to send spam, unsolicited promotions, or harassing content.
• Verified Partners may send mass messages only under their authorized partner agreement and subject to admin approval.
• Users have the right to block other users and report abusive messaging.

• Verified Partners must comply with their partner agreement in addition to these Terms.
• Sponsored content and mass communications must be truthful, relevant, and approved.
• Partners may not use the platform to engage in deceptive advertising or unauthorized data collection.
• Misuse of partner tools may result in immediate partner status revocation.

Salute may offer optional paid features and recurring subscriptions, including Salute Premium for individual members and SALUTE Pro Business for eligible business accounts. Available features, prices, billing frequency, renewal terms, and cancellation terms are shown before purchase.

Salute Premium enhances selected planning, personalization, discovery, and member-status tools. A Salute Premium subscription is personal to the purchasing Salute account and may not be transferred between users. SALUTE Pro Business is a separate business product and does not automatically include or replace individual Salute Premium.

Paid checkout may be completed through a third-party hosted payment provider. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, recurring subscriptions continue until canceled. When cancellation is scheduled for the end of a paid period, eligible paid features remain available through that period. Salute may change or discontinue optional paid features subject to applicable law and any required notice.

• The Salute name, logo, branding, and all platform-owned content are protected by copyright and trademark law.
• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Salute-owned content without written permission.
• Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to use Salute's trademarks or branding.

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Salute and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms, conduct harmful to other users, or for any reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States of America. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Columbus, Ohio.
